Plastic Conveyor Belts
D.E.N. Technologies Corporation plastic conveyor belts can handle various conveying applications. We strive to meet the requirements of every customer and can offer you the perfect solution for your particular application.
Plastic conveyor belts with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyurethane (PU), PTFE, silicone, cotton and felt surfaces and varying surface textures, thickness and tensile strength are available from stock. Thus, D.E.N. Technologies Corporation plastic conveyor belts have a range of useful properties which make it possible to use these advanced products almost in every industry.

Polyurethane Conveyor Belts
Conveyor Belt Surface Materials
PVC
PVC can be of two types:
EX – abrasion resistant rigid PVC (used for conveying construction materials, in the timber industry, for product packaging lines, etc.),
OV – oil and fat-resistant PVC (used mostly in the food industry).
Silicone
Silicone ensures “anti-stick” coating with excellent release properties and can be used to convey dough, caramel, marmalade and chewing gum. Moreover, silicone surfaces are easy to clean. Silicone conveyor belts can be used with small pulleys.
Felt
Felt coated conveyor belts are specially designed for bakeries and have excellent dough release properties. Felt is moisture-resistant so the belt does not stretch out and has a longer lifespan compared to other types of belts.
Polyurethane
Polyurethane is more oil and fat resistant, endures greater loads and has greater surface hardness than PVC. It also withstands temperatures as low as -30 degrees Centigrade.
Polyurethane conveyor belts are can be used with rolling knife-edges and small pulleys.
Cotton
Cotton belts are mostly used in the food industry for dough conveying as cotton coating prevents products from sticking.
Polyethylene
Polyethylene is resistant to corrosive chemicals, easy to clean and ensures “anti-stick” coating.

Conveyor belt surface texture:
Apart from materials, the offered conveyor belts differ in patterns:
Belts with frusto-conical projections are used for inclined conveying of small goods and also to emboss a pattern on the bottom of goods.
Belts with rhomboid depressions (waffle pattern)are used in bakeries for the conveying of dough and to emboss a pattern on the bottom of baked goods.
High flexible grooves are necessary for the inclined conveying of heavy goods.
Lateral grooveson the surface of a belt are a good alternative to longitudinal profiles. Such belts can be used with smaller pulleys.
Belts with a wave-like pattern are used for inclined conveying of goods such as suitcases, parcels and bags at railway stations, in airports and warehouses.
